Mathematician and Computer Scientist

Quantitative tools to address challenging questions. BA in Applied Mathematics, MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing. Experience in software development, engineering, and technical consulting for government clients.

Geospatial Analyst

Using interdisciplinary skills drawn from computer science, math, and geography to look at the world around us and probe the where, why, and how of spatial data. MSc in Geographic Information Science.

Dream Big

The world is full of big problems and vast amounts of data. To solve concerns of the future, we'll need to know how - and when - to address the one with the other.

Work

Most recently, I have worked on our generation's greatest challenge: addressing climate change. Along with my colleagues at Pachama, I used satellite imagery and AI to restore nature and solve climate change. Our technology helped hold developers, landowners, and carbon-conscious corporations accountable for the choices that will impact our collective future. Previously I supported clients across emergency management, defense, and intelligence sectors.

Education

I have an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing at Oxford University, where I completed a dissertation on the complexity and performance of Unitary Recurrent Neural Networks. I also have an MSc in GIS from University College London, where I completed a dissertation on the impact of resolution on vehicle detection in satellite imagery using Convolutional Neural Networks.
